My mom ended up putting herself through college after learning the language and working her way up to the top at Singer Corporation in NYC, as an executive secretary to a V.P. or CEO, Jennings was his name.. My grandmother worked physical jobs, cleaning and busting her butt, saved money and invested in a residential building in Brooklyn, where she was a landlord, successfully and learned enough English to get by. She lived her final years into her mid 90's in Sarasota, FL. My mother met my dad, he was a securities attorney for a Wall Street Firm... unoccupied back then, lol... Anyhow, I had strong America loving values instilled in me from day one. My mother's story is a true survival story and a tribute to this country's solid greatness and how an immigrant with nothing but the clothes on her back could make it here, and live up to her desired upper middle class status, The Real American Dream Story. She lives with her second husband of 25 years in Palm Beach, FL and has to listen to me now... She got mad at me at first, then I reminded her of the frustrations they endured as others chose to stick their heads in the sand... It's too hard for her to believe the things we're going through and can see coming in the future, at this rate, just around the corner... Denial for her is vital.. For us it's lethal..
I have yet to see the 'Motherland'.. (talk about having a way with words, coming from the master himself).. I hope it can happen someday. The people of Poland were put down in shame for so long. They're a resilient rarity, solid and decent people with knowledge we could only hope to understand. It blows me away, as you said, how the rest of the world perceives us now... We went from being THE force to contend with, the financial magnates of the world, with a military force like no other, Leadership of Epic magnitude, Feared and Revered. They say it's been happening for decades, maybe it's because it took THIS administration to really wake up, but from what I've learned, off a clean slate, is that the game of politics is dirty, period, and money and power can lead good men to stray from their values, there's always some corruption in the system, the usual shenanigans and suspects, but this is a new level, an epic version that's unprecedented by even the poster child for a corrupt administration, which is comparatively an offense that could ultimately diminish the holocaust.. (of course that's a mild exaggeration, but to even see the parallels calls for epic emergency duties from a force we've never brought before our own government) ... They have to exist, we're not conspiracy theorists, with facts comes the theory's elimination into actuality -- REALITY, it's here, and Denial is rampant. Denial at a pivotal point like this is deadly. Winston Churchill knew it, and he knew what had to be done despite being called crazy. Thank God for him and his ability to tune it out. Where's our Winston Churchill now? I put my hopes and efforts into Allen West.. Can this party learn from its mistakes? We can't afford any more lessons. The GOP have a self sabotaging subconscious mind... The Demonic Party's twisted brainwash techniques are virulent and malignant, but they work. Does it mean we have to join em in the trenches, go low to sink them at their own level or stay up here where we can see our own self destruction from a good, righteous view?
I'm thinking this ultra conservative ideology will have to shift after the primaries. Maybe we need a wolf in sheep's clothing.. Get the GOP to rally around THE ONE, then let him get down and dirty in the depths of deceit and deviation to get rid of the stronger strain of virulence that's holding us hostage. Getting into the enemy's head and thinking like him, doing like him, for the greater good.... I hope they know it too, sometimes being too close in that bubble will keep them blind fighting the wrong fight, then crawling out from the rubble. It only means we appeal to his base, validate them and promise them what they want, but use semantics to convince those it's just a value of faces.. Two or three, whichever holds aces.. Who can hold em until the right time to fold em? Think about it... Romney and Rubio ... Romney and Cain... Romney and Perry would rock em and shock em. Romney and West.... Romney can wear the face of a saint, but he's got the level of narcissism that'll win the media over, like the messianic arrival .. Until this country quits idolizing other humans who are just that, human, but were in the right place the right time, had the burning drive and celestial narcissism to get a shot at fame and fortune, some are the sickest bitchass bastards on the planet, but the glorified golden star shines in obscurity a blurring halo effect.
The traditional values untainted by ugly envy, gluttony, pride, and the seven deadly sins, must bring us back to Earth so we can survive in the real world as we once did, in balance, devoid of extremist divide, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice For ALL. God Bless America.
